Newsletter 11.10.21

Dear Parents/ carers,

Newsletter Week Beginning 11th October

I am pleased to tell you that Positive Covid cases in our school still remain low. We are still taking a cautious approach but please can I ask you to keep following the one-way system around the school grounds and keep 2metres distanced when on the school grounds.

Please remember, if your child has any of the 3 main symptoms, please keep them at home and book a PCR test. You will need to keep your child at home until they have a negative test or the isolation period is over. This website has further information.

If your child has a positive test result over the weekend or early Monday morning, please put POSITIVE in the subject box and email  their name and class to

treuchaf.primaryschool@swansea-edunet.gov.uk

NO Nuts!

We have several children in our school with a severe nut allergy. It is really important that you do not send nuts or Nutella into school in packed lunches or as part of snack. We want to make sure ALL our children are safe and hope you understand the need to make this rule.

Rising 3’s

We are hoping to start a rising 3’s afternoon nursery class in January. If you have any children that turn 3 between now and 31st August 2022 please contact the school office to put their name down on the Nursery list. Spread the word!

Swansea Parent Carer Forum Survey

You may be aware that the LEA have been running their first ever annual survey of Parent Carers (parents with children who are disabled or have additional needs) in Swansea. The purpose of the survey is to learn more about the lives and experiences of Swansea parent carers so they can better understand what is important to them and reflect that in their work and priorities.

Key information:

  • This survey is for Swansea based parent carers only
  • To recognise how valuable parent carers time is and as a token of our appreciation we are able to enter survey takers into a prize draw for a chance to win gift vouchers of £50, £25 or £10.
