Welcome to the Year 2 Class Page.
The class teachers this year are: Mrs Havard, Mrs Kierl and Mrs Bessent. Below you will find a range of information about our class routines but if you have any further questions then you can message Mrs Havard, via class dojo.
Reading at Home- Please read with your child every day and bring their reading folder to school every day.
A reading book will be sent home in your child’s reading folder. You can also use ‘https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/’ to hear your child read at home if they have finished their reading book from school and you are looking for more books to read. Our class log in is: Username-edwards / password – edwards (all lowercase).
In addition to this, every pupil will read daily in class and participate in weekly Guided Reading sessions. The class teacher/support teacher will also hear them read at least once a week individually.
