Attendance- This week’s attendance is 85.7%

The best attending class is Year 3

Dear parent/ carer

The children have thoroughly enjoyed the ‘Jubilee Celebrations’ this week and we even had a visit from HRH during the Jubilee picnic lunch yesterday, what a treat.  The atmosphere around school has been electric and the Tre Uchaf’s Got Talent Show today was a tearjerker. Huge congratulations to those children who reached the final and what a final it was! The judges had the most difficult job and were in tears after some of the acts so I am relieved I didn’t have to choose the winner. I have no idea how Simon Cowell does this week in week out! Congratulations to The purple Stripes who were our winners, Cameron who came second, Jake was third and Whitney and Morgan fourth- amazing!

The Treuchaf Bake-off was won this year by Year 3 who were delighted. It tasted even better than it looked. Thank you to Mrs Havard, Mrs Dixie, and the Jubilee committee who planned the events this week. The standard of work from the children, which is currently on display in the corridor, was superb.

Thank you for completing the short survey about sports day. We have had a mixed response so far between those parents who would like separate class sports days and those who would like us to be together on the field. More information about dates and times will be shared after half term. If you haven’t submitted a response please click on the link here or copy and paste it into your browser. Many thanks.

A few things to remind you about over the coming weeks…

INSET Days

Monday June 6th and Friday 22nd July. Please put the dates in your diary and spread the word!

Absences

Please telephone the school office on 01792 893682 and select option 1 to leave a message if your child is absent. We understand that some children are more poorly than others are however; we have a duty to inform you if attendance is particularly low. I met with EWO this week who has asked to send the standard letters to those children who are below 80%. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you are worried or if you need help and support to improve your child’s attendance..

Tiddly Tots

Our Tiddly Tots parent and Toddler group is growing! It was lovely to see new faces this morning so we have decided to extend the time from 9am-10.30. Pop in between this time on a Friday for a cuppa and a chat! This is a great chance to speak to other parents and prepare your little ones for school! We look forward to seeing you after half term.

I hope you all have a relaxing half term and we will see you back in school on TUESDAY 7th JUNE.

Many thanks for your continued support.
